Parenting-Workshops

We all know the old saying, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Being a parent today usually means living without that proverbial village and having to find the support and information you need from sources other than your great-grandmother down the road. Together we will delve  into many important and informative topics around your child and the early stages of parenthood. Join our family-expert Claudia Umschaden while exploring specialized discussions centering around family,  babies and small children, all in a relaxed atmosphere with tea and cookies. Your child, of course, may join you! All events can be booked separately.

always on Friday 10:00-11:30 in Planet Lollipop

Fee: EUR 25,-- per person & morning, or EUR 40,-- per couple
all 4 mornings EUR 80,--

If cancelling the workshop within 3 days, a handling fee of EUR 7,-- will become due.
04.10.2019 Temper Tantrums (Age of Defiance)

The age of defiance is a very special chapter in the life of our children. As parents, we often find ourselves completely helpless when our little angel suddenly changes into an angry little devil. In this event I will share how you may choose to act as a parent when those situations arise, and how to best approach your child during a temper tantrum. I discuss many options on how to guide your child through a temper tantrum and how to offer support during this phase of your child’s development.

8.11.2019 Sibling Rivalry

You can’t choose who your siblings are and yet it’s the closest familial bond there is. All siblings will occasionally fight and get jealous of each other. How can I as a mother or father, support my children and try to counter any conflict between them? How do I handle situations in which siblings tattle on each other and start to fight? These, and many more questions, will be answered during this session.

06.12.2019 Setting Boundaries

How can I lovingly guide my child into a space with defined boundaries without feeling overwhelmed myself? When are “boundaries” even necessary? How can I speak with my child in a way in which they will understand me and accept my saying “no”? Why does my child never listen to me? If you always wanted to know the answer to those questions, then this is the right place for you!
